In a bid to keep the community safe and protected against COVID-19 during this pandemic, the Ipoh City Council (Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh) is conducting cleaning work, disinfection and sanitisation at popular landmarks in the city. To date, the various locations identified include food courts, public markets, playgrounds and recreational parks.
This exercise is only one of the steps taken by the City Council to ensure that its level of cleanliness is maintained and the spread of COVID-19, currently affecting the world, including Malaysia, is contained.
The process began on 23rd March. It will conclude on 31st March, 2020, expectantly the end of this Movement Control Order (MCO).
