Disinfection Exercise at Ipoh Parade Shopping Mall

Mall thanks agencies for efforts in containing COVID-19.

Ipoh Parade expressed its gratitude to the Perak Fire & Rescue Department (BOMBA) and Ipoh City Council (Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh) for their disinfection exercise conducted at the mall to curb the spread of COVID-19. The sanitisation and disinfection exercise, which was carried out on 31st March, covered the mall’s common areas and parking lots.

“While the mall has stepped up its safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are especially grateful to the Perak Fire & Rescue Department for carrying out the disinfection exercise at our mall and also MBI for its assistance in ensuring that the operation was executed smoothly,” said Ipoh Parade’s Operations Manager, Mr A. Navamani. 

Earlier, Encik Azmi Osman, director of the fire department, announced that in addition to the red zone areas such as Hilir Perak and Kinta, the disinfection exercise would also cover places with huge crowds that might have the potential of spreading the virus.
