Press Conference: Launch of Clearwater Bay Resort
The official launch of Clearwater Bay Resort (Phase 2B), in Waterfront City, Bandar Lahat Mines, by Ipoh City Mayor Dato’ Hj. Roshidi Hj. Hashim, was announced at a press conference recently. Local celebrity, Jack Lim, or more popularly known as “Ah Beng”, will be making a special guest appearance, and shall distribute two thousand copies of his “Ah Beng comics” for free.
Developed by Sunrise Palace Sdn. Bhd., Clearwater Bay Resort at Waterfront City will be one of Ipoh’s largest integrated residential and commercial development. With a land size of 700 acres, this modern township will come with complete facilities, like a (proposed) shopping complex, hotel, hypermarket, hospital, college, gourmet food court and entertainment outlets, just to name a few.
Within this development is a 150-acre lake, where there are plans to set up a floating restaurant. A lakeside hotel is also expected to be built. Additionally, water sports activities will be organised here in due time, which reminds me of Asian Water Sports Village in Puchong, Selangor.
In Phase 2B of Clearwater Bay Resort, which began development some three years ago, there are two types of residential houses: 2 1/2-Storey Zero Bungalow and 2-Storey Semi-Detached.
Type: 2 1/2-Storey Zero Bungalow
Land size: 45′ X 102′
26 units facing the lake with no block-up
Optional item: elevator
Price: from RM1,088,880 (standard lot)
Type: 2-Storey Semi-D
Land size: 36′ X 83′
48 units
Price: from RM498,880 (standard lot)
A hundred units of terrace houses are planned in an upcoming phase to be launched in the first quarter of 2013.
Clearwater Bay Resort is a 24-hour gated and guarded neighbourhood, with brand new contemporary architecture, ideal for a modern lifestyle. Strategically located just five minutes’ drive from Tesco Hypermarket and AEON Station 18 and only ten minutes to the North-South highway and Ipoh City, it is most convenient living here.
During the launching ceremony, guests will be entertained with a Chinese traditional lion dance parade involving 88 lions, prancing to the beat of the 24-Season drums, a collaboration of thirteen lion dance troupes from all over Perak. The event will also feature Malaysia’s very own “Twelve Girls Band”. The ladies will be mesmerising guests with their talent on traditional Chinese musical instruments.
And for the first time in Ipoh, guests at the launching of Clearwater Bay Resort will be enthralled by an amazing performance of the Spring Water Drum, which was first witnessed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in China.
Later in the night, there will be an impressive display of fireworks.
The launching of Clearwater Bay Resort is open to the public. All are welcome.
