Only The Freshest Seafood @ Labuan’s Mr Crab
When in Labuan, don’t be surprised to find that seafood is not only fresh, but very reasonably priced as well!
After all, Labuan is an island, and seafood is almost like a staple diet here. It’s all well and good knowing this, but where should you go to eat?
Top on the list of eateries would be Mr Crab Seafood and Steamboat Restaurant. For both my trips to Labuan this year, we had two sumptuous meals here. For the first trip in April, it was lunch (read HERE).
It was dinner during the second trip in November. Obviously, the ambience for lunch and dinner was different, but the meals served were no less indelible in their own right.
So, the photos shown here were taken during my latter Labuan visit. Of course, it’s seafood, seafood and seafood, beginning with lobster, crabs and fish. If you don’t like seafood, it would be a waste to make a trip to the Pearl of Borneo!
Thanks to Chef Firdaus, we indeed had a delicious feast, not only for the tummy, but also for the eyes. Don’t just take my word for it, as I have photographic proof.
As I have mentioned in my first blog post on Mr Crab Seafood & Steamboat Restaurant, this is an eatery best patronised in a group. Ten would be an ideal number.
Order these dishes, or my lunch. Don’t know their actual names? Never mind, just show them my photos. Hehe!
