Must-Try Set Lunch Deals at Crane KL Restaurant

We were excited to try out the set lunch at Crane KL Restaurant as it is not often that we get to fine-dine in a fancy restaurant at a fraction of what we would pay at dinnertime. Plus, Crane KL is the perfect lunch spot to dine with clients or catch up with friends. Imagine sitting at a table next to one of its many large windows decorated with lush greenery, including hanging crane lanterns, and tucking into their long list of delicious Western Asian fare.

Crane KL is launching a new set lunch menu starting from 2nd May at an incredible deal of RM25++ available only on weekdays from 12 noon to 3pm excluding public holidays. The new set lunch menu comes with your choice of 1 starter and 1 main course selected from a list of 8 starters and 8 mains.

2. Orange Balsamic Salad with Sundried Tomato, Red Onion, and Roasted Mix Nuts (V)
3. Tempura Eggplant with Garlic Aioli (V)
4. Chicken Bolognese Spring Roll
5. Korean Gochujang Tempura Popcorn Chicken
6. Soy Garlic Glaze Chicken Wings
7. Vegetable Pai Tee with Turnip, Carrot, and Fried Onion (V)
8. Spicy Sweet Chili Calamari Fritti

Choice of Main Course
1. Crispy Chicken Burger with Sriracha Aioli, Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Gherkin
2. Fried Radish Cake with Chili Paste, Beansprout, Egg, and Chives
3. Instant Noodles Aglio-olio with Olive oil, Capsicum, Garlic, and Chilli Flakes (V)
4. Carbonara Pizza with Turkey Ham and Mushrooms
5. Vegetable Pizza with Eggplant, Sundried Tomato, and Cream Cheese (V)
6. Creamy Tomato Spaghetti with Chicken, Roasted Mushroom, Bird’s Eye Chilli, and Cherry Tomatoes
7. Salted Egg Buttermilk Chicken with Bird’s Eye Chili and Curry Leaf. Served with White Rice
8. Chicken Parmigiana with Tomato Concasse, Mozzarella Cheese, and Lettuce

The options available are a good mix of Western and Asian fares. Non-meat eaters will be happy to know that there are vegetarian options for them too (indicated with V)! Also included in the set is an iced lemon tea (drink).

We gave the new set lunch menu a go and opted for the Chicken Bolognese spring roll (#4) as our starter and for our main dish, the Crispy Chicken burger with Sriracha Aioli, cheddar cheese, lettuce and gherkin (#1).

The spring roll with Chicken Bolognese stuffing is a clever spin on the traditional spring roll that we are used to; the skin had a crispy texture, and the chicken Bolognese stuffing was delightfully moist and tasty.

The Crispy Chicken burger was crunchy and well-seasoned, and we liked the zesty Sriracha Aioli inside the burger. We finished off our meal with a tangy and refreshing glass of iced lemon tea, just what we needed on a hot afternoon.

Apart from the set lunch, we also got to try one of their signature dishes, the Salted Egg Spaghetti with Crispy Prawn (RM32++). The crispy prawn was cooked to perfection while the pasta was al dente and well coated with the rich and creamy salted egg sauce (yum!). We happily devoured every bite of this addictive creation!
