Miss Malaysia Kebaya Perak 2016

Sashaying down the runway in a shimmery white and black mandarin-collared kebaya top paired with an elegant floral black and red batik sarong, Nurul Ain won the hearts of judges to walk away with the title of Miss Malaysia Kebaya Perak 2016.

As the winner, Nurul Ain will represent Perak in the grand finals of Miss Malaysia Kebaya 2016, to be held on 12th November, 2016, at Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC). She will be competing against fifteen ladies for the title.

In this state selection, the participants first came on stage in white t-shirt and jeans, followed by a parade in kebaya outfit, sponsored by Emerald Brilliant Boutique.

Five contestants were then shortlisted, and they had to answer a random question, such as “How to promote the kebaya?” and “What makes you different from the others?” I have to say that all five ladies answered eloquently despite their stage fright and nervousness.

During the competition, five subsidiary titles were also presented. The winners took home a sash and 3Bskin skincare products. 3Bskin is the main sponsor for the event.

It must have been a tough decision for the judges as there could only be one winner. However, it was a unanimous vote for Nurul Ain. Congratulations! May she do Perakians proud at the grand finals this November.

Pretty girls. Love all the kebaya there.
Absolutely adore some of the designs showcased during the event. It must have been really hard for the judges to make the decision too – all the girls seem lovely.
Nicely done, the winner surely deserves the right for the crown.
I always love kebaya but i am not confident enough to wear one
Congrats to the winner. I really love the way she dress up herself to win the crown.
Always love seeing girls in Kebaya.. so pretty… but I have since grown sideways and so I don’t know if I will ever wear the Kebaya again… but who knows… hahaha
All participants look so ayu in their kebaya, I have one set too 🙂
