Media Appreciated For Commitment in Promoting State

The Perak State Exco for Tourism along with Perak Tourism Management Berhad jointly hosted their annual breaking of fast gathering with media friends from Perak, and agencies involved in the promotion of tourism for the state at Tower Regency Hotel, Ipoh, last evening.

YB Dato’ Nolee Ashilin Bt. Mohammed Radzi, as Exco for Tourism, personally and on behalf of her office, thanked the media for their unwavering support in promoting tourism in the state and in disseminating relevant and accurate information to the public, in the face of the greatest challenge of COVID-19. Many may overlook their efforts, but media members are also frontliners as they continue to cover the latest news.

For Dato’ Nolee, who has been appointed to the position on 1st April, 2020, this networking session was like a reunion with her media friends in an official capacity, after three years away from government.

The networking session was followed by breaking of fast alongside celebrating early Aidilfitri, to foster greater ties among government agencies, non-governmental organisations and media practitioners to work as a team to keep this Silver State as a top tourism destination, with its unique products.
