There are rest houses (in the form of apartments and English cottages) for rent at this park, and during our visit, accommodation was fully booked. It was not surprising as it was the school holidays.
Moreover, the room rates here are very reasonable. I was informed that there are more to see and do at night in Tanah Rata, which is just less than 1km away, than in Brinchang, which is further north. So, convenience is yet another selling point.
Accommodation:
Type A (1 Queen bed + 1 Single bed) – RM250/night
Type B (1 Queen bed + 2 Single beds) – RM200/night
Type C (4 Single beds) – RM200/night
Guests who take up accommodation here can enter the agro technology park without paying additional fee.
Entrance fees:
Student: RM1.50
Student group: RM40
Adult: RM3
Adult group: RM80
Visiting hours: 8am – 5pm (closed on Monday)
Lunch break:
Tues – Thurs: 1pm – 2pm
Fri: 12.30pm – 2.30pm

Established in 1925 by the British, this agro park was then known as Federal Experimental Station. It was one of the best agricultural centres in the country.
