Perak Chief Minister launching MAPEX 2012

The three-day property and industrial expo known as MAPEX was launched by the Chief Minister of Perak, YAB Dato’ Seri DiRaja Dr. Zambry Abd. Kadir on Friday morning. I was actually more interested in the properties, rather than the launching ceremony, I still went along to get some shots.

Running a blog primarily about Ipoh, I sometimes get asked about the new residential and commercial property developments in the city. Well, anyone who is interested in investing in Ipoh properties should drop by MAPEX (ekspo hartanah dan perindustrian) in Ipoh, where some of the major players in property development in Ipoh and its surrounding areas are here.

also Taipan

At MAPEX Ipoh, besides promoting properties in the city, some developers from outside of Ipoh also showcased their developments, including Tropika Beach Resort in Malacca, MH Unilodge in Kampar, Perak and Aranda Nova at Kea Farm, Cameron Highlands, Pahang.

A friend told me that property markets in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru are no longer robust. Perhaps investors should really look at the properties that are available in Ipoh. I have to say, property prices here are still very reasonable. What do you think?

  1. Visited on last Saturday. Not so big event if compare to last year. Not much developers are participate/taking part in this exhibition.

Hope that next year will be more grand!!!

  2. Yes, Ipoh properties are still much cheaper compared to Penang, KL or Johor… I didnt know there was an exhibition in Indera Mulia, I would like to there if I knew.. 🙂
