The Sacred Riana Live at MAPS, Ipoh

Winner of Asia’s Got Talent 2017, The Sacred Riana, is making an appearance at MAPS (Movie Animation Park Studios) for three days only from 16th to 18th Feb, 2018! I managed to catch her on stage yesterday afternoon, and may I suggest that you too make our way to MAPS to watch this Indonesian illusionist?

The Sacred Riana is on stage three times a day: 3.30pm, 7pm & 9pm. Her show is not long; approximately 20 minutes, but each set is different. Therefore, if you are at MAPS today (last day of The Sacred Riana’s appearance), you can catch all three shows and not get bored.

In fact, judging from yesterday’s afternoon show, you will only get more and more creeped out. The 26-year-old Marie Antoinette Riana Graharani takes on a ghost-like persona onstage and even offstage that reminds one of Sadako, the character in a Japanese horror movie, The Ring. Meanwhile, her doll brings to mind Annabelle from The Conjuring.

How did the text on the blackboard, placed inside the tiny house, alter in reply to her question? How did the wine glass get expelled from the house by itself and break into pieces? Last but not least, the big question is, HOW did the doll come to life?

The Sacred Riana Live at MAPS, Ipoh was packed to the brim on the first two days of her three-day stint. Be early to the stage, to get an unobstructed view.

By the way, I intentionally did not record a video of The Sacred Riana show so as not to spoil the surprise for you. Go and watch her personally. You won’t regret it!
