Ipoh’s Top Romantic Dinner Spot With Sunset View: 7 Sky @ MH Hotel Ipoh
Although it’s no secret that MH Hotel Ipoh has a wonderful dinner venue on its 7th floor, the fact that it offers a stunning sunset view is not known to many, based on the recent research that we conducted among friends.
Some may go for its ambience, others for its delicious Western menu served in ultra-generous portions. There are those who utilise the space for socialising, with a drink in hand. And of course, music lovers could have booked one of the three karaoke rooms or enjoyed the live bands who used to play here at 7 Sky, although live band entertainment has temporarily stopped.
Catching the sunset and its golden hours requires luck. The right timing for sunsets is to be on standby around 6.30pm. We were there for that but unfortunately, after a heavy downpour, the sunset failed to appear. Still, we proceeded with dinner, and were not disappointed by our decision as our meal was under the moonlight. Still romantic, right?

7 Sky @ MH Hotel Ipoh has three different sections: air-conditioned, shaded, and open-air. There are also three air-conditioned karaoke rooms that one could reserve for singing sessions among friends.
Most diners choose the outdoor section when the weather is fine, to enjoy the view and the fresh, cool breeze. Reservations are not required but advisable if you are going in a large group, such as to celebrate a birthday or an engagement. And on big-game nights, there will be live games that one could watch with fellow sporting kakis, as there is a large screen available.
Imagine this scene where you are celebrating a special occasion with loved ones, watching the sunset together, and later in the evening, drinking to good health and warm wishes under a sky full of twinkling stars and a shiny moon. Memories are indeed made of these.
