IIFW™ 4.0: Wraps Up With a Bang

The much-anticipated International IPOH Fashion Week (IIFW™) Season 4.0 wrapped up with much fanfare and colour at Dataran MBI last evening. The enthusiastic audience was able to admire one more time the exclusive lineup of the latest styles and trends from an array of Malaysian and international fashion labels.

Believing that fashion should be accessible to all, International IPOH Fashion Week (IIFW™) Season 4.0 brought fashion to the masses by converting Dataran MBI into a catwalk runway. The evening before, fashion was celebrated in the streets at Ipoh Old Town, where a runway fashion showcase cumulated into a street party. Read about it HERE.

Among the fashion houses that participated in the catwalk at Dataran MBI included Kenny Loh Couture, Amanda Brown Couture, ByMeeka Collection, SRG, Asti Atmodjo, and Fadhila, who mostly presented different collections to the delight of fashion followers.

Drawing one of the loudest cheers from the excited crowd were the fashion faculties of UiTM Seri Iskandar and Kolej Komuniti Batu Gajah whose students were onboard through a strategic collaboration with IIFW™ to showcase their contemporary creations to an international audience.

Combining fashion with music and entertainment, Malaysian singing sensation Ayu Damit, winner of One in a Million Season 2 as well as Nepali multi-talented singer-producer-model Suraj (winner of Genius Music Award 2022) rendered popular music that the audience was able to sing along to.

This successful IIFW™ Season 4.0 raised some RFM170000 for two beneficiaries: Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HRPB) received RM104883.96 for its Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), while Perak Foodbank, RM60500. Read the article HERE. See you again next season!
