Announcement: International IPOH Fashion Week (IIFW™ ’18): Even Bigger
The second season of the much anticipated International IPOH Fashion Week (IIFW™ ’18) is back with the theme, Even Bigger.
As a follow-up to the successful inaugural season last year, this exclusive home-grown event will feature a line-up of fashion designers, models, celebrity guests and performers of both local and international stature.
Carving its niche of being a marque fashion event, this 3-day IIFW™ ’18 will be held from 9th to 11th November, 2018.
With a two-pronged objective of showcasing Perak-based fashion talent to the world and at the same time welcoming the world to the wonders of Perak, IIFW™ ’18 will feature both local and international designers and fashion labels from China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Nepal. Awaiting confirmation are designers from Japan and Korea.
Tentative programme is as follows:
9th Nov – Opening “Night of Glamour and Glitter” Charity Gala Dinner at Syeun Hotel Ipoh
10th Nov – Runway Fashion Showcase Nite 2 featuring Islamic fashion and modern cultural fashion @ Syeun Hotel Ipoh
11th Nov – Closing runway pret-a-porter (ready-to-wear), swimwear, safari/resort-themed fashion showcase @ Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh
IIFW™ ’18 serves as a platform to generate funds for the benefit of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh. Saving tiny babies, table ticket sales for the opening charity gala dinner is priced at RM3000, RM2000 and RM1500 per table.
Meanwhile, tickets for Nite 2 runway show is priced at RM30 each to encourage and promote opportunities for all to experience a fashion extravaganza of international standard.
As for the closing dinner, it is strictly by invitation.

Your valuable contribution is necessary
As you may be aware, any event of this scale will not be successful without the support of the community. So, how can you do your part to save tiny babies? There are a few ways.
The easiest is to purchase a table, or ticket to witness the fashion showcases. Is there a simpler way? Of course, just donate in cash to the cause, or in kind to the event.
If you are a fashion designer, or a creative professional related to fashion and design, you may contribute your skills to IIFW™ ’18.
If you have the height and looking for a modelling break, this is a good platform for you. Model casting is in August, so get ready.
