Hard Rock Cafe Comes to Ipoh at PALO 101

Ipoh City will soon have another spotlight shine on her following the opening of Hard Rock Cafe at Palo 101, along Jalan Sultan Iskandar. It will be Malaysia’s fifth outlet for one of the most globally recognised brands. Existing outlets are located in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Melaka and Johor.

The first phase of Hard Rock Cafe Ipoh’s opening is the Rock Shop (selling HRC branded merchandise) at Palo 101 on 16th June, 2023. The cafe is slated to open in December 2023 to offer a dynamic dining experience with a menu that features classic American dishes.

Dato’ Rumaizi said, “The soon-to-open Hard Rock Cafe will hopefully draw more international brands to the city and indirectly, attract a larger tourist number, especially with 2023 being Visit Ipoh Year and 2024 Visit Perak Year.

“Also, the presence of Hard Rock Cafe, which celebrates music, is in line with Ipoh’s vision as a City of Limestone, Music and Arts for Asia.”

The exciting event, signified by the signing of an electric guitar by the Mayor, Lau and Chao, was also supported by two local Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Clubs: Ipoh Prestigious Owners of Harley plus Heaven MC (Ipoh Chapter). The more than 200 guests were entertained by a two-piece band from Hard Rock Iskandar Puteri.
