Two New Signature Dishes Introduced by Konda Kondi Cafe & Bistro, Ipoh

Good news for foodies in Ipoh and those visiting soon! One of the city’s more popular Western Halal hipster cafes has just introduced two new signature dishes: Buttermilk Chicken and Buttermilk Sotong rice platters.

As you can tell, they are almost similar – the difference is that one platter is rice + chicken, while the other is rice + sotong. Therefore, depending on what you crave for dinner, you wouldn’t go wrong with either option. As variety is the spice of life, how about going for chicken one evening and then sotong the next? Buttermilk Chicken Rice is priced at RM18.90 whereas Buttermilk Sotong Rice is RM19.90.

Konda Kondi Cafe & Bistro, which opened its doors for business in 2015, offers an extensive menu. Besides the abovementioned local dishes of Buttermilk Chicken Rice and Buttermilk Sotong Rice, other selections include Western Grilled Main Courses, Fried Main Courses, Pesta Pasta Konda, as well as snacks and appetisers. Of course, there is a wide choice of hot or cold drinks, too.

One item that also comes highly recommended is the Giant Dinner Plate, with the tender chicken whole leg on a bed of greens and a slice of charcoal bread for added colour.

Diners who prefer a noodle-based meal should perhaps opt for Spaghetti Creamy Fireball (beef dish) or Spaghetti Carbonara Sausage (chicken dish). Do check the Pesta Pasta Konda section of the menu for more choices.
