It’s shopping galore this long 4-day weekend in Ipoh, thanks to the double expositions of Furnidec coupled with Taste Fully Food & Beverage Expo.
If you haven’t heard yet, this mega exposition is being held at the newly set up GRC Hall in Gunung Rapat, behind KFC / Pizza Hut.
I was there to bring you these random photos. It was so crowded, I could hardly walk. I can certainly understand why. With Furnidec, one could check out furniture and electrical appliances.
Meanwhile, Taste Fully brings us many choices of food and beverages. These two expos are held currently in separate but connected indoor, air-conditioned halls, with each hall offering approximately more than one hundred different booths.
Although I have attended many furniture and electrical expositions over the past few years, I did spot some new exhibitors this time around. So, if you wish to upgrade your household, this is a good opportunity, before newer products are introduced with less attractive price tags, no thanks to the depreciating Ringgit.
I was particularly attracted to the various food and beverage products being offered at Taste Fully. Even though some of the items are readily available on a daily basis, such as BRAND’S, Spritzer and Milo, there is also a good selection of items that are from out of state, e.g. Penang rojak sauce & prawn paste.
In addition to these, look out for snacks from Thailand, Taiwan and Korea, just to name a few that I spotted.
Besides food and drinks, other edible items are available, such as virgin coconut oil and kelulut honey. Oh, there are plenty of opportunities to sample the products so that you can make an informed decision to purchase or not.
There are also other vendors promoting products and services that do not fall into any of the above four categories:- credit cards, telecommunications, mobile phones, laptops and accessories, travel packages, and even, surprisingly, memorial park burial plot.
