Yes, the ever-popular Thai Food Fair is back in Ipoh! This is certainly great news for those who are unable to make their way to our northern neighbour during this long school holidays.

Now that they are here at our doorstep, there is no more excuse not to sample some of Thai’s best street food! This fair began on 22nd Dec, 2016 and will wrap up on 2nd Jan, 2017. That’s twelve long days to whet our appetite.

If I am not mistaken, all of these vendors are from the southern Thai province of Pattani (Wikipedia). Therefore, it is not surprising that they can speak Malay, hence, no communication barrier.

In today’s post, I am sharing some photos of the food that are being sold at the fair. Obviously, these are pretty common fare in Thailand, but if you noticed, they are different from the Thai Food Festival which was held at Tasek Square last month.

All the more reason to go, then? I definitely plan to return for more snacks over the coming week.
