First Round of Worldwide Bartending Competition Happening at Hard Rock Café Kuala Lumpur this Sept 27
For the fifth consecutive year, bartenders from Hard Rock Café all over the world will be showing off their top-shelf mixology techniques in a highly-anticipated bar battle in search for Hard Rock’s Global BARocker Champion.
A series of local and regional competitions will kick off in Kuala Lumpur this Sept 27, hosted where else but at Hard Rock Café, Wisma Concorde.
Bartenders answering the battle call will be put through a list of tasks to test their recipe and bar knowledge, accuracy, speed, flair and showmanship. Meanwhile, a panel of industry experts will evaluate the competitors and choose the best bartender(s) who will represent Malaysia in the regional competition.
In January 2018, six bartenders from around the world will advance to compete in the final showdown at Hard Rock’s Global BARocker Championship in Orlando, Florida. I anticipate extremely keen competition as the Global BARocker Champion’s winning drink will be featured on Hard Rock’s exclusive beverage menu for a limited time. What an honour that will be!
In the meantime, come Sept 27, guests are welcome to drop by Hard Rock Café Kuala Lumpur and watch how the contestants battle it out.

I tried to learn to bartend and I enjoyed it. Except for the bruises, I got lols.

I like watching bartenders doing their performance mixing because I find it so artful. Sometimes it made me jaw-dropped, hahhaa.
