Join in the Festive Cheer with Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang at Resorts World Genting!

Growing up reading Peanuts, you cannot imagine how excited I am when I found out that the Peanuts gang, particularly Charlie Brown and his pet beagle Snoopy, will be at Resorts World Genting this holiday season.

The programme, Tour the World with Snoopy, sees the internationally-known beagle in 52 costumes from different countries. Part of the attraction is the larger-than-life inflated Snoopy at 6-metre tall, located at SkyAvenue Level 1.

Joining Peanuts in welcoming guests at Resorts World Genting are Christmas tree floats, elves, santarinas, snowmen and, of course, Santa Claus himself. What’s Christmas without jolly Ol’ St. Nick?

While the street procession is only one of many activities lined up to celebrate the holiday season, a main highlight of Tour the World with Snoopy @ Resorts World Genting, held from 1st Nov, 2017 to 1st Jan, 2018 involves Snoopy in 52 custom-made costumes of different countries and cultures.

Figurines of this popular beagle are placed at various locations in SkyAvenue and First World Rainforest.

Visitors are encouraged to pose and take photos with these figurines – part of the fun is searching for all 52 of them. How much time will that take? I have no idea but I am going to attempt this search when I next head up the mountains!

Catch Snoopy, Charlie Brown and their 11 friends—that would be Santa Claus and company—on parade from 25th Nov, 2017 onwards, during Tour the World with Snoopy. These colourful characters will meet and greet visitors as they spread festive cheer daily at SkyAvenue and Genting Grand.

Genting Rewards members can look forward to own some exclusive merchandise—a limited edition piece of Snoopy fun. They may utilise their Genting Points to make redemption for a limited edition Snoopy lanyard.

Shoppers who spend above RM400 at SkyAvenue will receive a Snoopy notebook while those who spend above RM600 will receive a Snoopy tote bag.
