District 21 will be celebrating its first anniversary on December 17.
The one huge difference is that District 21 is an indoor park, most welcome in this unpredictable tropical weather.
District 21 currently has eleven different attractions spread over two floors – there are adventures suitable for children, for adults only and for all ages.
The Sky Trail is the largest indoor rope challenge course in Malaysia with 23 elements altogether, offering varying difficulty levels either in its short or long course.
Another attraction is the indoor Roller Glider, said to be first in the world. A mix of zip line and coaster, patrons get their adrenaline pumped while zipping around the park above ground.
This was something that I really wanted to try out of the many attractions but time did not permit, unfortunately.
During my visit, there were just too many people to fully enjoy the facilities, no thanks to the school holidays. Also, a large group of Hewlett-Packard staff was there for a corporate team-building event.
Entrance fee includes a pair of gloves and grip socks, which are otherwise sold separately at RM6 per pair.
12pm – 8pm (Sunday – Thursday)
12pm – 10pm (Friday – Saturday)
10am – 10pm (Public Holidays)
Admission: RM75 (peak) / RM58 (normal) / RM10 (non-active guardian)
One of my friends asked me if it’s worth going to District 21. Yes, but I advised him to go during off-peak season because of the smaller crowd and hence, shorter queue time.
