The event began with an electrifying line dancing performance by the youth and women’s wings, setting an energetic and festive tone. In his speech, Datuk Yik underscored the association’s core mission of fostering unity and preserving cultural traditions. He passionately remarked, “Our association exists to connect with our roots and pass on our cultural heritage. Without a sense of belonging, we are like a kite without a string; without our traditions, we are like a tree without roots.”
