Bazar Nanas Kampung Selabak, Teluk Intan

This little “bazaar” is set up to promote Kampung Selabak’s famous pineapple. It is very much similar to Tambun’s pomelo square, a place that tourists must make a stop to pick up some local fruits and other delicacies. Kg. Selabak is about 4km from Teluk Intan town but the distance didn’t stop me from checking out what’s sold here.

Obviously, besides pineapple, where the two most popular species are the lychee and honey pineapples, other popular must-buy fruits include jambu air, cempedak and bananas. And then there are also salted fish! Yummm!
