This year’s second edition of Sharpened Word, an Ipoh literary event, comes with the theme, Local Animation.
Coming to the city to share his experience and journey of Batik Girl is multi-award winning creator-cum-director, Irwan Junaidy.
His 9-minute short animation gained tremendous publicity since it was launched last year and received rave reviews. Additionally, this animation has been shortlisted in various film festivals across the globe.
Another panellist at Local Animation is Hassan Muthalib, known as Malaysia’s Father of Animation. He will be sharing with the audience about the overall view of the local animation industry.
This is a session especially suited for those who are keen to get involved in the industry and those who want to know more about animation. Will we see you around?
