Announcement: Perak Art Society 45th Anniversary Art Exhibition
The Perak Art Society will hold its 45th Anniversary Art Exhibition at Soka Gakkai Malaysia (Perak Branch) for three days beginning October 16, 2015.
Over 20 members of the society, from 30 to 80 years of age, are participating in the exhibition. There will be some 60 art pieces on display of various media.
Popular scenes captured on canvas include familiar heritage buildings, Ipoh Old Town, limestone hills, fishing villages as well as flora and fauna of Perak.
Through these artwork, Perak Art Society hopes to attract art lovers and visitors to visit Perak, not only to view the beautiful landscape of Perak but also to have the opportunity for personal interaction with the artists.
Therefore, this exhibition is held not only to promote local artists but also Perak tourism, as it is organised in conjunction with Malaysia’s Year of Festivals 2015.
Admission is free. All are welcome.
