Perak Stamp Fair & Exhibition

UTC Ipoh is the place to be this weekend for those interested in philately as the Perak Stamp Fair & Exhibition is being held on the first floor of the building.

Besides the exhibition of complete sets of stamps from all states of Malaysia and even overseas, other collections on display include aerogrammes, registered mail, postal stationery and first day covers.

Collectors would be happy to know that dealers are around to buy and sell stamps, first day covers, currency notes and coins too.

During this exhibition, there will be power point presentations at the following time:

12.30pm (Sat & Sun) – Introduction to Thematic Philately
2.30pm (Sat & Sun) – Local Birds on Malaysian Stamps
4pm (Sat) – Perak Postal History
