Announcement: Asian Premiere Concert: Gustavus Symphony Orchestra & Jazz Ensemble

Music lovers, do take note. This is one rare opportunity to listen live to the amazing music of America’s Gustavus Symphony Orchestra (GSO) & Jazz Ensemble, right here in Malaysia.

GSO from Gustavus Adolphus College was one of the finalists in the 2015 American Prize (College/University orchestra division), and was featured at the 2016 MMEA Midwinter Clinic.

During the musicians’ upcoming trip to Malaysia, cities on their itinerary are Kuala Lumpur (28th Jan), Penang (30th Jan), Ipoh (31st Jan) and Melaka (3rd Feb), as part of their Malaysia-Singapore 2020 tour.

From what I understand, the Ipoh concert is in support of Lighthouse Hope Society, a non-governmental organisation that serves the Hungry, Homeless and Helpless.
