Alan Teh Solo Photography Exhibition

A solo photography exhibition by retired press photographer with over 40 years of experience, Mr. Alan Teh, AMP., PJK., is currently underway at Meiziya International (first floor).

The theme is about the development of Ipoh over the years, spanning as far back as a hundred years ago. There are some 60 photographs at the exhibition right now, with plans to include additional exhibits over time, up to at least a hundred.

The uniqueness of this photography exhibition is the comparison visitors can make, taking the journey through Alan’s lens on the development of Ipoh, then and now. Notable landmarks include Waller Court, Octagon, Ipoh Railway Station, Han Chin Pet Soo, and many more.

It is heartening to see the changes this beloved city has gone through. The younger generations now have the chance to witness this growth via the painstaking photography compilation by Alan, while appreciating his photography skills.

This afternoon, Local Government Development Minister YB Nga Kor Ming launched the exhibition, following the officiation of Meiziya International, Ipoh Cultural Corridor. This new attraction is located in Kepayang constituency, where YB Nga is the current Kepayang State Assemblyperson. He is also the Member of Parliament for Teluk Intan, Perak.
