Chinese New Year falls on Jan 31st this year, and as we gallop into the Year of the Horse, most Chinese families will make the effort to get together for a meal, which we call it the reunion dinner.
If you are celebrating Chinese New Year in Ipoh, Impiana Hotel Ipoh is a good choice to host your reunion dinner as the hotel is offering three sets of 8-course Chinese New Year dinner menus from Jan 30 to Feb 14, 2014, as well as three sets of 8-course pre-Chinese New Year dinner menus from Jan 6 – 26.
The photos I have included in this post is from the reunion dinner menu priced at RM888 nett per table of 10 pax. The other two options are priced at RM688 nett and RM788 nett per table.
Pre-Chinese New Year menus, on the other hand, are priced at RM488 nett, RM588 nett and RM688 nett per table of ten.
Those who prefer an informal Chinese New Year reunion dinner may opt for the BBQ dinner at RM78 nett per adult and RM39 nett per child (6-12 years old) or the “Prosperity Buffet Dinner” also similarly priced, which is available from Jan 31 to Feb 2 at The Coffee House.
In conjunction with Chinese New Year, IHI has lined up interesting events and activities for guests. The highlight will be the hotel’s own Chinese New Year celebration on the 3rd day of the New Year, on Feb 2, at 10am, where there will be a lion and dragon dance performance by Ipoh Chin Woo’s international award winning troupe, plus a giant yee sang, and the letting off of firecrackers. All are welcome to join in the celebrations.
