Andaman Group Collaborates With Dorsett Hospitality International In Festive CSR Project
For the second consecutive year, Andaman Group is collaborating with Dorsett Hospitality International to bring joy to the less fortunate. This year’s beneficiary is Rumah Sayangan.
With the theme of ‘Bear-licious’ and ‘Panda-licious’, this year’s festive giveaway packs that are up for adoption features a Dorsett Bear with candies for RM50 each and also the Panda-licious comprising Mother and Baby pandas with candies for RM80 each.
Each one will be ‘hugging’ two tins of candies; one with marshmallows and the other with gummy bears. Donors have the option of taking the panda/bear back or to give away the bear/panda to children of Rumah Sayangan, a home to the 18 underprivileged, abused, abandoned and orphaned children, located in Cheras, Selangor.
Members of the public who wish to support this meaningful effort may approach the friendly Front Office team members from participating hotels, namely Dorsett Kuala Lumpur, Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur and Silka Cheras.
Employees of Andaman Group purchased a total of 90 units of ‘Bear-licious’ and 15 units of ‘Panda-licious’ with all proceeds to Rumah Sayangan.
A meaningful adoption ceremony was held at the head office of Andaman Group, witnessed by Dato’ Sri Dr Vincent Tiew and Mr Henry Loo, General Manager from Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur alongside fellow representatives from Dorsett Hospitality International.

The bears are so cute. It’ll be nice for the children to get something so sweet during this festive season, something they can hug and love. I remember how much my soft toy meant to me when I was a child, it will be comforting.
