Weekend Bazaars in Ipoh
I receive a lot of enquiries about weekend activities in Ipoh. Weekends can be rather busy but where do people go besides hunting for Ipoh food?
Well, Burps & Giggles have opened up their first floor to weekend bazaars, at least for this month. The weekend of Nov 30 & Dec 1 saw a charity bazaar by Persatuan Daybreak, while the weekend of Dec 7 & 8 was one by Autism Support Association for Parents, or better known as ASAP.
The photos I am sharing in this post were from the ASAP charity bazaar, and the items were made by children with autism. Ipoh-born author Theresa Lim Mun Sim sponsored her books and painting for the cause.
Two other bazaars have been scheduled for the rest of the month. They are Christmas bazaars just in time for the festivities.

Emily:
Read about your post on charity Bazaar in Ipoh.
I am interested to purchase artwork and paintings to support these charity societies, in decorating my newly opened clinic in Ipoh. Could you give me the contact.
Thanks.
Hi Dr Lim,
As far as I know, there is no charity bazaar yet.
Regards,
Emily
Will there be any flea markets in Ipoh before Christmas?
Hi Kirsten,
There probably will be because it is still a long way to Christmas. However, I do not have information yet.
