UO Superstore anniversary celebrations — Red M&M’s makes an appearance

UO Superstore Ipoh, the anchor tenant of Greentown Mall in Ipoh, Perak, held a simple celebration to mark the occasion of its 19th anniversary. Wow, 19 years already? How time flies!

Representatives from the Urban Development Authority of Malaysia or UDA (Perbadanan Pembangunan Bandar), the governmental agency that manages the shopping mall, came all the way from Kuala Lumpur to celebrate with staff, customers and members of the press.

There was a cake-cutting ceremony and we were then feted to simple party food that included nasi lemak, fried chicken, chicken nuggets, sandwiches, pudding, ice cream and various drinks. The celebration may be simple but it looked like everyone had a great time. It doesn’t take much to make the staff happy… 🙂
