Announcement: Sharpened Word 1st Anniversary (Oct 2016)
This October marks the first anniversary celebration of Sharpened Word, Ipoh’s very own literary matinee that is hosted on the third Saturday afternoon of every month.
To celebrate the occasion will be a two-day event over this coming weekend, to be held at the Old Andersonians’ Club.
On Saturday, 15th October, from 2pm to 5pm, we will hear from a diverse and illustrious panel: singer-songwriter Wani Ardy, Spoken Word Educator Catherine Brogan, and Ipoh-born novelist Selina Siak Chin Yoke.
Admission by donation.
On Sunday, 16th October, from 10am to 1pm, is the anniversary celebration specially held in collaboration with #MYWritersFest 2016. Well-known writer Tina Isaacs will conduct a workshop titled “Copyright of Creative Content”.
This workshop is suitable for those who produce creative content; whether in writing, reporting, blogging, artwork, photography, screen play or poetry, etc.
Door fee is RM10 per person.

The Copyright of Creative Content looks interesting, so will definitely be looking into that one. Plus for RM10 for the door fees, it certainly sounds reasonable 🙂
