Unveiling Ipoh’s Best Kept Food Secrets

Ipoh’s bean sprouts chicken is second to none, and no one can deny that. However, is there a best of the best? How about this presentation at The Haven Resort Hotel Ipoh All Suites where the breed of the chicken is ‘regal’? This offering is one of my favourites whenever I dine at The Haven’s Cuisines.

Another star item on the menu is the Singapore Laksa. I have patronised The Haven’s Cuisines on many different occasions and I never give this Singapore Laksa a miss. Indeed, even as its taste improves over time, you know this is the real deal when even a Singaporean gives it his stamp of approval. If you do not know yet, boss of The Haven is a Singaporean.

And of course, one should wrap up a meal with dessert. During my most recent lunch at Cuisines, I had cheese cake. It comes highly recommended. It was so smooth. I would definitely have more if I weren’t thinking about my growing waistline.

Don’t forget, The Haven’s Cuisines is only open to residents and guests of the resort, as well as guests of guests. I say, go get yourself a room and indulge in MSG-free fare!
