Some three months after visiting Putrajaya, which was the starting point of Malaysia Tourism Hunt 2012, I was back in the Garden City of Tomorrow again, for its lake cruise. Putrajaya looked very different when viewed from the lake during the day, but I preferred the night cruise because of its multitude of lights.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the hour-long cruise, and the fine weather that morning enabled me to shoot photos as the boat went along its route. The cruise guide was very helpful in identifying the many buildings and monuments of Putrajaya, especially the eight signature bridges.

Other icons spotted during the cruise included the Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) and the Millennium Monument that looked like a rocket from afar.

Check out my series of photos and see if you could recognise any of the landmarks I have included. Otherwise, just read the photo captions – I have tried my best to identify them.
