Puppies Rescue Mission

37 puppies were adopted by dog lovers in Ipoh on the first day of the two-day Puppies Rescue Mission organised by I.S.P.C.A. at De Garden. The two-day campaign saw some 80 puppies put up for adoption, mostly poodles but there were also a few pugs, shih tzus and mongrels.

The pedigree puppies were rescued from an illegal dog breeder, who has promised not to breed dogs for commercial purposes again. We hope he will keep his word! This is a strong reminder to all future dog owners to adopt, and never buy!

The puppies for adoption at this campaign were not vaccinated or neutered, but new owners have pledged, via the adoption form, to keep vaccinations up to date and to neuter them at an appropriate time. Most of all, new owners have pledged to care for and love their dogs!

I.S.P.C.A. will conduct a spot check exercise on these new homes two weeks from today, to ensure that all the puppies adopted are in loving homes.
