Except for South Korea, all teams have sent their first-liners, using this tournament to prepare for the World League 3, as games here will be played in the new four-quarter format.

5. head coach for Australia, Graham Reid

Malaysia have been given the target of a final, which seems like a long shot to me in view of the keen competition. Australia have to live up to their star billing, New Zealand have been pressured by their government to perform, India have a new coach in Paul van Ass and may be showing a new game, etc.
