Photography Exhibition: A Day’s Journey For An Eternal Blessing
For those who missed the day-long photography exhibition entitled “A Day’s Journey For An Eternal Blessing” at Sepaloh Art Centre last Saturday, worry not as the photographs are now on display at NSS Centre until July 20th.
Although this exhibition carries no specific theme, a total of 41 framed photographs are put on display. These photographs were captured over one day’s time in Penang Island by four photographers, namely, Jensom Ng, TS Chin, Nicsmen Chen and Gigi Thin, whose experience with the camera range from beginner to more than 10 years.
Priced at RM1288 per photo, all these photos are for sale, with proceeds going to the photography societies of three private schools in Ipoh: Yuk Choy, Poi Lam and Shen Jai, in the form of photography cameras and equipment.
NSS Centre has pledged to top up donations by 50% in the event that more than RM30,000 is collected from this photo exhibition through the sale of photographs and/or programme books priced at RM130 each. So far, RM9,414 has been collected.
