Perak Deepavali Open House @ Little India
The crowd was so huge, for awhile, I thought that Shah Rukh Khan came to Little India, Ipoh, but it was only the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, his wife YAB Puan Sri Noorainee Abdul Rahman, and their entourage of security personnel. They came in a bus.
This was Tan Sri Muhyiddin’s second visit to Little India. Two years ago, he approved a grant of RM1.5 million to spruce up Little India to become the Little India Ipoh that we know today. This year, the Ipoh City Council has requested for an additional RM100,000 from the State government to further decorate the area.
Today, I do not have many photos to share, but these are more than enough already, I say!

I will be in Ipoh during Deepavali. Is there a chance to meet an Indian family and to participate at the festival?
