Much to our delight, Hollywood superstar Ipoh-born Bond girl, Dato’ Michelle Yeoh, made an appearance with her mother, a local icon in her own right, Datin Janet Yeoh, her brother and her very beautiful niece. Obviously, I did not let go of the opportunity to shoot, shoot and shoot.
Other distinguished dignitaries present were Y.B. Dato’ Dr Mah Hang Soon, who organised this mega event, and his wife Datin Lim Soo Lee, Perak State Assembly Speaker YB Datuk R. Ganesan and his wife, Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Senator YB Heng Seai Kie, Datuk S. Veerasingam Adviser for Indian Affairs, Deputy Home Minister YB Datuk Lee Chee Leong and other political and community leaders.
