This is the final PC Fair of the year in Ipoh. Well, I’ll have to say, after visiting the numerous IT exhibitions throughout the year, these expos no longer appeal to me. Yet, I still had to go and have a look with my own eyes.
I was hoping that I could find something interesting, or at least get to shoot some sexy PC Fair babes, but I think the trend has not caught on in Ipoh yet. Anyway, at this PC Fair 2011, the dominant IT products being promoted are laptops; not many netbooks or tablets.
And with the numerous camera booths, it’s almost like a camera fair. I did note that Sony α NEX-C3 camera is selling at RM1899 and Panasonic DMC GF3 is selling at RM1790 (single lens package) and RM2390 (dual lens package). See, I am looking for a compact, light-weight camera with dSLR capabilities. I guess I better do an in-depth research on this. Not even sure if these prices are good deals.
Other than these, nothing else caught my eye except for Asus Eee Pad Transformer selling at RM1799. Too bad it currently offers WiFi connectivity only. Will play the waiting game…
