Ipoh’s first Sime Darby Auto Hyundai 3S Centre was officially opened on 30th Oct, in a simple, yet meaningful ceremony that incorporated Chinese custom and tradition. This 3S (Sales, Service and Spare parts) centre, the 17th 3S Centre in Malaysia, is operated by Sime Darby Motors, a subsidiary of Sime Darby Auto Hyundai (SDAH).
According to Mr. Lau Yit Mun, Managing Director of Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors, a good network of Hyundai 3S centres in Malaysia gives customers accessibility to Hyundai cars and reliable after sales service. This particular 3S centre along Jalan Lahat offers convenience not only to Hyundai owners in Ipoh, but also neighbouring areas like Kuala Kangsar, Cameron Highlands, Batu Gajah, Bidor, Kampar, Sungkai and Teluk Intan. There are about 1,000 Hyundai passenger vehicles registered in Ipoh, 40% of the total number registered in Perak.
This 3S centre has eight service bays, with capacity of 24 throughputs a day. In addition to car service and repairs, it also offers collision repair services, including spray painting and panel beating. Like other SDAH 3S centres, while waiting for their vehicles to be ready, customers get to enjoy free WiFi internet connectivity and free flow of beverages.
Hyundai’s premium services, Quick Service and 24-hour Key Drop Service, are also offered here. They eliminate the long waiting time, catering to the needs of owners who are pressing for time.
