The well-maintained whitewashed heritage building with bright lights shining from the lobby definitely attracts much attention. Nevertheless, a visitor could easily miss its entrance, as it is located by the side of the building, facing Auction Rooms Café, an adjacent building, also a sister property of Kimberley Hotel.

The refurbished pre-war structure has a modern charm to it, whereby all 117 rooms and suites across four floors are elegantly appointed.

Although Kimberley Hotel doesn’t come with much frills, it is a hotel that serves tourists to the island very well, and it is not only because of its extremely strategic location.

  1. When I visit new places modern hotels are great to stay at, however, they lack the history and the story that come with the location. Kimberley seems to have both the modern decor and the great history to accompany its guests.
