Hari Raya Open House: Y.B. Dato’ Seri Ahmad Husni

Unlike previous years, the Hari Raya open house of Malaysia’s Second Finance Minister YB Dato’ Seri Ahmad Husni and family was on the third day of Syawal, instead of second.

The crowd of well-wishers was larger this year, but it was orderly, and there was plenty of delicious food to go around. I felt that there was a lot more choices of food as well, though rendang ayam was absent. 🙁

Dato’ Seri Ahmad Husni and his wife Datin Seri Fauziah Kamarudin were busy greeting well-wishers, and distributing duit raya to young children as they continued to stream into his house.
