Hairspray - Musical | From Emily To You

Hairspray the musical was the second show presented by City Ballet Performing Arts Academy, Ipoh under their “We Love, We Care” production to raise funds for Klinik Lutheran. The clinic hopes to purchase a fully-equipped mobile medical vehicle to provide free healthcare services to people living in remote areas of Perak.

Hairspray, popularised by Hollywood star, John Travolta, as Edna Turnblad in the 2007 film adaptation, is about an “overweight” teenager, Tracy Turnblad, who, with her friend, Penny Pingleton, are crazy about the Corny Collins Show.
