The Chimes of Love Vol. 2

In this season of giving and sharing, the PSPA Singers from the Perak Society of Performing Arts (PSPA), put up a heartwarming charity concert to give back to the community in the spirit of Christmas.

Aptly hosted at the elegant Wesley Methodist Church in Ipoh, the 2-hour programme began with a recital of hymns and Christmas carols in the first half, followed by a stirring musical production in the second.

Besides the PSPA Singers, the choral arm of PSPA; guest performers included KV Saxophone Ensemble and Din & Phonic, to present the show with a more varied repertoire.

As for the musical, it was a local adaptation of a Charles Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol. Hats off to the cast for putting their heart into their performance, that took the audience on an emotional roller-coaster ride.

The PSPA Singers, with members ranging from as young as 7 years old to seniors in their 70s, from all walks of life and background, is a community choir established for their singing passion, and to enhance Ipoh’s status as a City of Performing Arts.
