“Give It A Home” Adoption Programme
The Ipoh Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (I.S.P.C.A.) organised yet another pet adoption campaign during the last weekend of March. Also held at the car park area of De Garden, a mixture of breeds and ages of dogs were put up for adoption.
The photos I am sharing in today’s post were some of the puppies that were available over the two-day campaign, where 45 doggies were successfully adopted.
However, anyone who is looking for a new pet as a family member is urged to check out the various animal shelters because there is bound to be a dog (or cat) that would catch your eye.
This pet adoption programme may have been long over, but the organisation continues to hold similar programmes throughout the year. Dogs and cats are also available for adoption at the shelter. Keep abreast with news and information of that shelter via its Facebook page: www.facebook.com/ISPCA
The I.S.P.C.A. is also looking for generous support for its food bank programme. 70kg of food is consumed at the shelter every day. That works out to be 2170kg a month. To donate dog food to I.S.P.C.A., call 016-5553454 (Mr. Lee) or 019-5532655 (Mr. Cheah).
The organisation’s annual charity dinner will be held on 24th May, 2014, at 7pm in the New She Lai Ton Restaurant. Tickets are sold at RM70 (ordinary), RM100 (VIP) and RM300 (ribbon-cutting). Get your tickets now to support a worthy cause. Contact 016-5553454 (Mr. Lee) or 019-5532655 (Mr. Cheah).
