A Front-Row Seat to the Skies: Experiencing Singapore Airshow 2026

February is a wonderful time to be in Singapore, and in 2026, there is one more reason to mark the dates in your calendar. Singapore Airshow returns from 3rd to 8th February 2026, turning the skies above Changi Exhibition Centre into a stage for some of the world’s most impressive aircraft and flying talent.

Whether you are a casual traveller, a weekend explorer or simply someone who enjoys a good spectacle, this biennial Singapore Airshow offers an experience that goes well beyond runways and aircraft hangars.

The Sky Becomes the Main Attraction

One of the most memorable aspects of Singapore Airshow is its daily flying displays, where visitors can pause, look up and watch aircraft carve elegant and sometimes thunderous paths across the sky. In 2026, the flying programme brings together a rare mix of military precision and commercial aviation grace.

Making its Singapore Airshow debut is the Royal Australian Air Force’s F-35A Lightning II, a fifth-generation fighter aircraft that is expected to draw plenty of attention. Alongside it, familiar favourites return, including the Indian Air Force’s Sarang helicopter team, the Indonesian Air Force’s Jupiter aerobatic team, and the People’s Liberation Army Air Force’s Bayi team, each offering a distinct flying style and rhythm.

Regional Highlight with Familiar Faces

For many in the region, the return of the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s Sukhoi Su-30MKM adds a sense of familiarity and pride. Having performed at earlier editions, its appearance once again strengthens the regional flavour of the airshow and reminds visitors that this is truly an Asian aviation showcase with global reach.

As the host nation, Singapore puts forward its own story through the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s Integrated Display Team. Featuring the F-16C fighter jet and the AH-64D Apache helicopter, the display highlights not only aerial manoeuvres but also the teamwork and preparation that take place behind the scenes. It is a moment that blends spectacle with subtle storytelling about professionalism and readiness.

Commercial Aircraft To Steal the Show Too

The airshow is not all about speed and power. Commercial aviation plays a starring role as well, appealing to travellers who are more used to seeing aircraft from a cabin window than from the ground.

Flying displays are scheduled daily, with weekday sessions held once a day and Weekend@Airshow offering two performances each day: noon on 3rd February, 11am on 4th & 5th February; while during Weekend@Airshow, it will be twice a day at 11am and 3.30pm on 7th and 8th February. This makes the weekend particularly attractive for travellers and families looking to build a full day around the event. Static Aircraft Display

Beyond the aerial performances, one of the quieter pleasures of the airshow is wandering through the static display area.
