Free Dried Meat From Oloiya

Upholding the motto, “It is more blessed to give than to receive”, dried meat specialist Oloiya gave out some 6,000 packets of dried chicken meat, a Chinese New Year delicacy, at 200 grammes per packet, at their 33 outlets in Malaysia. Each outlet gave out about 200 packets in this promotional exercise.

Perak only has one branch – along Jalan Yau Tet Shin, opposite Lou Wong Bean Sprout Chicken. I heard that the queue was started by early birds at 4pm, even though the counter to redeem only opened at 7pm. That just shows how popular Oloiya is!

The queue swiftly grew longer after 6pm, and even before the counter was opened, the 200 redemption cards were already given out. By 7.15pm, the crowd was cleared. It was quick. So, did you get your share of dried meat from Oloiya?

Pizza Hut gave away free personal pan pizzas on Tuesday and Oloiya gave out free dried meat yesterday. Any other companies giving out free food? Yummy!
