Valentine’s Day comes but once a year. No matter how we would like to think that every day is Valentine’s Day, it is a great excuse to get all dressed up for the occasion and celebrate “love”.

This year, Kinta Riverfront Hotel in Ipoh is offering an extra reason to celebrate Valentine’s Day, giving the opportunity to lovers to declare their love with the launch of “love lock”. Each couple will receive as door gift a heart-shaped lock, which they would later, in a ceremony after the dinner, lock it onto the bridge. This is a symbol of everlasting love. This love-locking ceremony is hosted by Ipoh Lion’s Club, and the guest-of-honour is Y.B. Dato’ Chang Ko Youn.

In addition to the door gift of a heart-shaped lock, the price of RM188+ per couple comes with a complimentary bottle of wine (or sparkling juice), a stalk of rose, chocolate pralines and mocktail on arrival.

Besides enjoying a romantic Western set candle-lit dinner at the Sky Lounge on Level 4, with an amazing view overlooking Kinta River, couples also stand a chance to win the lucky draw grand prize of a Honeymoon Suite for one night, valued at RM3,888. The second prize is one night’s stay at the Executive Suite at RM888.
