Day 4: Malaysia Tourism Hunt 2012
It was a swift and hassle-free transfer to our resort – The TARAAS Beach & Spa Resort. Each of us was given a warm towel and a coconut to refresh ourselves, while being entertained by dancers.
A delicious lunch followed and then we proceeded to check in to our “chalet”. Couldn’t spend more time indoors as we had to head over to the Marine Park Centre. It was a short boat ride away only, thankfully. There, we learned about marine conservation and the Do’s and Don’ts before we were allowed to go for our snorkelling session.
Everyone marvelled at the clear waters. Many said the waters in Langkawi couldn’t compare. Errr… I have forgotten. I think I need another trip there again soon!
We only had about an hour to play, as we had to quickly head back to our hotel right after another CSR activity. The skies were getting dark and no one wanted to get caught in the storm. Of course not!
Once more, I wished we could have a lot more time here! 1 hour is not enough, right?
Anyway, the CSR activity was the release of baby turtles into the sea. That could only happen after many photo sessions with them! Haha!!!
